Mother's Day

For Mother's Day I am going to make my mom her favorite dinner. Which is steak with mashed potatoes and broccoli with melted cheese on top. And of course a salad. I don't think we have ever had a dinner without a salad, my mom really likes them.
But I am a pretty good cook so I think she will like it. It will be nice for her to not have to cook a meal for the night, since she does it almost every night anyway. I bet my sister will help me cook it too. More than likely I will grill the steaks and she will make the mashed potatoes. Either way it is going to be a good meal.

New Puppy

My sister just got a new puppy today. She just called and told me. It is a German Shepard. Its four months old and she named him Max. Her friend is moving and couldn't take him with her so my sister told her that she had been looking for a dog and that she would be than happy to take care of him.
I can't wait to see him. I am going to go home this weekend, so I will stop by and get to meet him. My sister loves animals, so I know he will be happy living with her. She is great with them, she works at a vets office.

Freshman Year

This year is almost over. It has gone by so fast. It seems like just a few months ago my parents and I were moving all of my things into the dorm. And now they are coming up this weekend to get the majority of my things to move back in with them. It's crazy.
I am happy to go back home, but then again I wish I could stay in San Marcos in the summer. I really enjoy it here. And a lot of my friends are going to be here. I guess it's a good thing that I don't live that far away. So I can come up here whenever I want.

Music

I couldn't live without music. I listen to it when I do anything, homework, driving, working out, and more. It is just so good. It can help you with your different moods that you are in. It's a total stress reliever.
And there are so many different types of music, you could never get bored. I really enjoy rap. 93.3 is my favorite station. I am always downloading new songs to put on my ipod. I feel so weird without it.

New Phone

I got my LG Shine at the beginning of the year and at first I loved it, as of today it's a different story. The thing freezes all the time and doesn't ring half the time. Luckily my friend has an old razor and he is going to give it to me.
It probably doesn't help that when I get frustrated with my phone I drop it or throw it. But it's already horrible, so I don't see how it can make it worse. And that I have my friend's phone on the way, that helps too.

HATS

I have began to love hats this semester. I have started my very own hat collection. I have bought four hats in the last two months. One Texas State hat, a DC hat, and two Fox hats. They are so tight!
One I got for my birthday from my mom. It is a black and red Fox hat. It's really cool. I wore it to my birthday party that my cousin had for me. I had some great Pumas to go with it, black, white, and red.

Naps

I absolutely love taking naps. I take one almost everyday, and will later on today. Probably around six is when I will be able too. It will be a very short one, but I'm just glad I will get to take one. With finals here I have been staying up late to study and I have been tired all day.
My goal is to finish my blogs, finish the rest of my psychology review, then nap. After my short nap, its of course studying time. I'm going to have dinner first though. I'm so happy my finals are spread out. Last semester they were so close together, I didn't like it at all.

Facebook

Facebook takes up so much of my time. I get on nearly everyday. The sad thing is, I bet half of the students here can't imagine life without one. I mean I know people that get on it multiple times during the day.
It can take away from studying time if you're not careful too. My friends always says that she would be getting better grades if she didn't have a facebook. Which is probably true. I don't let facebook take over my life, but I know many people who are too addicted to it.

Focusing

So I have ADD and the last few months it has been so hard to focus for my classes. I don't know if it can get worse over time, but I think mine is. It's really bad when it comes to my lecture classes, like History. I'm not too great in History anyway and having to try to focus for 50 minutes is hard.
I have told my mom about it and this summer I am going to the doctor to see. She thinks it is getting worse too. Hopefully not, but I can't help it. Luckily school is almost out. I really hope this doesn't hurt my grades.

Favorite Things

I have three favorite animals, as well as colors, and four favorite numbers. I know that's a little odd, but I just can't help but like more than one thing. My three favorite animals are: wolves, raccoons, and squirrels. Wolves I have always found interesting.
My three favorite colors are: blue, red, and green. Green use to be the top, but I got to liking blue and red a little more. And my favorite numbers are: 7, 11, 19, and 4. In any sports that I play I am always number 7 or if that is taken I have the other numbers for my back ups.

Psychology

I have my Psychology test tomorrow. I'm not looking forward to it at all. I need to do well on it too. Katie and I have been working on the review for the last few days now. We only have like five questions left. She is working on her Math while I write my blogs, then we are going to study.
Our teacher is cool though, she is letting us all show up an hour late to take the final. It starts at eight, but she said that we didn't have to show up until nine. That was really nice of her. She still has to be up there early, but she is letting us sleep in one hour extra.

Movie Night

A few nights ago, my friend and I watched four movies in one night. We started around eight at night too. We watched Baby Mama, Superbad, Pineapple Express, and Step Brothers. All of those movies are so funny. If you haven't seen them you need to watch them.
My favorite out of those is Pineapple Express. Seth Rogen is hysterical in all of his movies. During this whole movie all I did was laugh. If I am ever in a bad mood, this could totally get me out of it. It is one of my favorite movies of all time.

Birthday

My birthday was last Sunday, May 3rd. It was such a fun birthday. My cousin, who is a senior here, had a party for me. So many of my old friends from high school showed up. It was a nice surprise. We had a great time and my cousin made hamburgers for us.
We were just doing random things at his house. We were playing ping pong, listening to music, and playing games. It was really sweet of him to do that for me. And we took a lot of funny random pictures. I just hope my birthday next year is just as good.

Katie Miller

Katie Miller is my best friend and wanted me to write a blog all about her. She is on the Texas State Track team and runs the hurdles. The 400 hurdles to be exact. She has been improving all year. She is a freshman like me.
Next year we are living in Bobcat Village, finally out of the dorms. Thankfully we got to live in Blanco Hall, even though it is far, it is still nice. But we are both super excited about living in Bobcat next year.

Summer

Summer is almost here and I can't wait. The only thing I'm not looking forward to is getting a job. I know that all kids want money and that's where a job comes in, but I just wish I didn't have to get one. I think I am going to work at PacSun. That's my favorite store.
I had a job at a golf course, Falcon Head, a very nice place, but my mom didn't want me working there. Which is a downer because that would have helped me get more money off of tips, but oh well.

Speech

This year I took Comm 1310 like every college student has too. And my friends who have taken it already told me that it's a hard class. They have told me that the tests are worded differently, which make them more challenging. So, going into the class I already knew that I was going to have to put a lot of hours into the class for studying.
The two speeches that we had did help me out, I got A's on both of them. But I had my final today and I had to get a 75 on it in order to get an A in the class. I got an 82, so I got my A! My hard work of studying payed off. I'm so happy.

Hilson

My favorite girl rapper is Keri Hilson. She can change her style to almost anything. She is an amazing artist. I find myself listening to her all the time. My favorite song by her right now is called Return the Favor. But I love all of her songs.
She is like the girl version of Lil Wayne. She is in so many songs right now and is extremely talented. My best friend told me she would buy me tickets to go see her. I can't wait! It's going to be a great experience.

Half Baked

I have tried a new ice cream called Half Baked. It's from Ben & Jerry, they make amazing ice cream. This one has cookie dough, brownies, with chocolate and vanilla. I love all of the above. When I go to Dairy Queen, I either get chocolate chip cookie dough, or chocolate extreme.
Anything to do with brownies or cookie dough I love. They are so good. I have a major sweet tooth. Sweets are just so good, I can't pass them up. They are one of weaknesses. You should try this ice cream.

Longboarding

The other day was the first time for me to go down the parking garages on a longboard. It was so much fun. I love longboarding, but it is very new to me. My sister and her friend are going to get me one for my birthday present. I can't wait.
The wind blowing on your face when you are longboarding is one of the best feelings ever. I can't wait until I go again. I use my friends board, and it's a great board for beginners. I suggests everyone tries longboarding, at least once in their life!

Favorite Candy

I ate my favorite candy today, which are Kit-Kat Bars. They are so good! Whoever invented them I am going to love them forever. I got the king size bar because the regular one is too small, or at least for me. It was my treat after my run today. I know that doesn't sound like I accomplished anything because I ran and then ate candy, but I love them.
I like them in ice cream too. That is one of my favorite desserts too. Chocolate ice cream is the best and especially with my favorite candy. I hope yall enjoyed my blog about candy and ice cream :)
